The Alliance of Arts Councils of Ontario (AACO) is a collaborative network of Arts Service Organizations (ASOs) across the province. It provides a united voice for the arts sector, advocating for the value of arts and culture in communities of all sizes. Membership in the Alliance is open to all ASOs in Ontario and is free of charge, ensuring that organizations of any size or capacity can participate. While there is no mandatory membership fee, organizations are encouraged to make an annual contribution if they are able. These contributions help support the ongoing work of the Alliance, including professional development opportunities, resource sharing, sector-wide advocacy, and initiatives that strengthen the arts ecosystem across the province.

Being part of the Alliance connects members to a broader network of peers, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and amplifying collective impact. The Alliance also serves as a platform for member organizations to bring forward their unique regional perspectives, helping to shape provincial strategies and initiatives. By working together, members of the Alliance strengthen the voice of the arts in Ontario, creating a more sustainable, inclusive, and vibrant cultural sector for everyone.
