Our organization includes more than 50 municipal and regional arts councils, community arts councils and artists\u2019 networks from across Ontario, who collectively represent tens of thousands of artists, hundreds of local arts organizations of every size and discipline delivering arts and culture programming and services in their communities, cultural workers and arts groups in every discipline, their volunteers and audiences. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\"Janet<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Janet Jarrell<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Janet Jarrell (she\/her) is the Executive Director of the Quinte Arts Council (QAC) since 2018, bringing a diverse background in strategic planning, not-for-profit finance and marketing. A published author and experienced editor-in-chief, Janet spearheads the success of QAC’s notable Umbrella, a cornerstone program for the organization. With over fifteen years dedicated to profiling local artists, she has cultivated a strong network, facilitating partnerships and sponsorships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Co-Chair of the Alliance of Arts Councils of Ontario, she actively cultivates a platform for resource sharing, partnerships, and collaborative efforts with Arts Service Organizations across the province. Actively engaged in her community, she serves on the City of Belleville Economic Development Committee, part-time professor at Loyalist College, and previously chaired Options for Social Growth for five years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janet is committed to advancing the strategic vision of arts and culture and ensuring they remain a vital and thriving presence in the community.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Mike Douglas<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Mike Douglas has enjoyed bringing the Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) into sharp focus as a valuable arts service agency, initiating new opportunities for creative expression, employment and recognition. MAC supports the professional development of artists, providing educational webinars, online coaching and seminars that grow \u2018artpreneurial\u2019 capacity and enhanced skills.
Turning the Mississauga Arts Awards into a gala dinner celebration has made The MARTYS the most comprehensive city arts awards program in Canada. The artists\u2019 showcase that is MAC\u2019s Masquerade Ball has evolved into a successful fundraiser, helping MAC operate its micro-granting programs that saw 50 grants awarded for $150,000 in 2023. Previously, Mike was founding Editor and Co-Publisher of the popular city magazine Mississauga Life \u2013 Spirit of the City. For 30 years he was a freelance television director for network documentaries and dramas, this TV work included significant assignments for leading companies in Canada. Mike\u2019s many years of community volunteering earned him the Queen\u2019s Diamond Jubilee Award in 2012.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

David Hudson<\/strong><\/summary>\n

David Hudson (he\/him) has been performing, creating and appreciating contemporary dance for over twenty years. Born and raised in Oxford, UK, David trained at The Laban Centre in London. David has enjoyed a diverse career as a dancer, choreographer, educator, and drag artist. Now living in downtown Hamilton with his husband and two dogs, David has been working for the Hamilton\u00a0Arts Council team since 2019,\u00a0and as Executive\u00a0Director since January of 2024. In addition to his role with AACO, David is a current serving board chair for Aeris K\u00f6rper Contemporary Dance.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Keira Park<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Keira brings nearly two decades of experience in marketing, communications, design, and project management for the arts, culture, and education sectors. A graduate of OCAD University, she combines creativity with strategic and operational leadership to engage communities and connect people with the arts. As Director of Editorial and Marketing at Ontario Culture Days, Keira leads the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies, while overseeing major projects such as web redevelopment, fundraising events, and public sector engagement. Keira is committed to making arts and culture accessible and to supporting the sector\u2019s sustainability through network building, collaboration, and advocacy.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Eunju Yi<\/strong><\/summary>\n

Eunju Yi (Post Graduate Diploma in Arts Management (UWO), BA in Theatre (Kyungsung University)) is a strategic arts manager and inspiring public speaker, serving as Executive Director of the London Arts Council (LAC) since 2021 and a board member of the RBC Place London (London Convention Centre) since 2022. Her extensive experience as an artist, arts educator, and arts manager in Korea and Canada contributes to her unwavering support of the arts and culture internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Executive Director, Yi manages the organization\u2019s day-to-day operations and program areas, supports the organization\u2019s governance function through quarterly meetings and reports to the board, initiates high-profile business proposals, and maintains key partnerships by working closely with the City of London Culture Services, and the LAC\u2019s team of six professional Arts Administrators with diverse artistic and cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yi represents the organization on local, provincial, and national occasions through professional networks and meetings, as well as various speaking engagements, such as the National Liberation Day of Korea Official Ceremony (2012-2023), Beginning (2022, national conversations for disability art), London Chamber of Commerce Annual Summit (2022), London UNESCO City of Music Conference (2023), London UNESCO City of Music Expo (2023), and many other occasions, as a guest speaker, a panelist, or an emcee.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
